Meet Wendy Goldman
Wendy Goldman's path to the showroom started in the classroom. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, she taught elementary school in Austin and Dallas, served as a reading specialist, and earned the Ross Perot Teacher of the Year Award. In 1982, she founded The Closet. Raised in a family of retailers who believed customer service comes first, Wendy has spent more than four decades helping boutiques find children's collections their customers love.

Every market week, they're on the floor walking buyers through new lines, pulling together looks, and helping store owners find the pieces that fit their customers.
